Welcome to Doc-Live. By using this platform, you agree to the terms below. Read them carefully before using the service. This document is governed by Algerian Law 18-07 on personal data protection.
1. Definitions
- «Platform»: The Doc-Live platform accessible via web or mobile.
- «User»: Any natural person using the platform, whether patient or health provider.
- «Health Provider»: Registered doctor, pharmacist, lab, radiology center, or clinic.
- «Personal Data»: Any information identifying a natural person.
- «Health Data»: Personal data collected in a medical care context.
- «Account Identifier»: Email, phone, and confidential password.
- «Law»: Algerian Law 18-07 dated June 10, 2018.
- «Parties»: The platform and the user together.
2. Acceptance of Terms
- By creating an account or using Doc-Live, you agree to these terms.
- You must be at least 18 years old (Article 40 Algerian Civil Code).
- Minors under 18 require explicit consent from a legal guardian.
- If you disagree with any clause, stop using the platform immediately.
3. Service Description
- Doc-Live is a digital platform for medical appointment booking.
- It acts as a technical intermediary between patient and doctor/pharmacy.
- The platform is free for patients. Medical fees are paid to the provider.
- Displayed prices are indicative only and do not bind the platform.
4. Medical Disclaimer
- Doc-Live is a technical platform, not a medical institution.
- We are not liable for professional errors by doctors.
- All medical decisions are the responsibility of doctor and patient.
- Platform information is indicative and does not replace medical advice.
- In emergencies, contact health authorities immediately.
5. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password.
- Using one account for multiple people is prohibited.
- Impersonating another doctor or patient is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete violating accounts.
6. Cancellation & No-Show
- Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend.
- Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.
- The clinic may cancel in exceptional cases with notification.
- 3 repeated no-shows may temporarily suspend booking ability.
7. Intellectual Property
- All platform rights (logo, design, code, content) are owned by Doc-Live.
- Copying or reusing any element without written permission is prohibited.
- Violation exposes the offender to legal accountability.
- User data cannot be reused for commercial purposes.
8. Third-Party Sites
- The platform may contain links to third-party sites.
- We do not control or bear responsibility for external content.
- A link does not mean we endorse the external site's content.
- External sites have their own privacy and terms policies.
9. Prohibited Use
- Using the platform for any illegal purpose.
- Publishing false or misleading information.
- Attempting to hack or disrupt the platform.
- Collecting other users' data without permission.
- Commercial use without a written agreement.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Doc-Live is not liable for temporary service interruptions.
- We are not liable for losses resulting from user misuse.
- We are not liable for disputes between patient and doctor/pharmacy.
- Service is provided 'as is' without express or implied warranties.
11. Force Majeure
- The platform is not liable in cases of force majeure.
- Includes: natural disasters, wars, national internet outages, server failures.
- Obligations are suspended during force majeure.
- We make our best effort to minimize impact and restore service quickly.
12. Partial Nullity
- If any clause of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable,
- The remaining terms remain fully binding between the Parties.
- We seek to reformulate the invalid clause in line with the agreement's spirit.
13. Applicable Law
- These terms are governed exclusively by Algerian law.
- Any disputes are resolved before the competent Algerian courts.
- No foreign legislation applies to the relationship between the Parties.
